He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Niedzwiecki and Leocadia Niedzwiecki (Koziatek); his wife Cora Niedzwiecki (VanMatre); and his sisters, Annette and Karen.
He is survived by: his significant other Charlotte DeBoer; his siblings, Christine O'Brian (John) and David Niedzwiecki (Wendy); his children, Shirley Niedzwiecki (Cody Buskirk) and Susan Niedzwiecki; and his grandchildren, John Niedzwieck Jr. (Candice Richey) of Indianapolis, Christopher Collins, Alex, Gabriella, Kayla, Pelesina and Hope. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dozens of cousins.
