He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Johnson and Harriett Johnson (Sturggill); and his brothers, Ralph and Richard Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Violet Johnson (Vobolis). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
