It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gilbert (New Milford, Connecticut), born in Danbury, Connecticut, who passed away on January 17, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John R. Gilbert. He is survived by: his mother Genevieve Gilbert (Gould) of New Fairfield, CT; his children, James Gilbert Jr of New Milford, CT, Aaron Gilbert of Pownal, Russell Gilbert of Cameron Texas and Rebecca Gilbert of New Haven, CT; his grandchildren, Patric, Liam and Rhiana; and his siblings, Genevieve Harrison of Sherman, CT, Madeline Villani of New Fairfield and John R. Gilbert Jr. of New Fairfield. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
