She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry W. Steele and Aletha A. Elmer; her husband Jack Straub; and her children, Danny Straub and Bonnie Howard.
She is survived by: her children, Ronald Hartwell, David Hartwell, Donna Ring and Jeannie Straub. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
