He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Felix Santiago and Pasquala Santiago (Valentine); his wife Josephine Hernandez Santiago; and his children, Robert Santiago (Kathy) of Springfield, OR, Paul Santiago (Tanya) of New London and Julie Wilson. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19, services and burial in the Connecticut Veteran's Cemetery, Middletown were private.
