It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Chrisoula Sfugaros Phillips of New London, Connecticut, born in Derby, Connecticut, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Skarlatos Zachario and Lena Zachario; her husband George; her children, Dorothy Vamvakides (Nick) and Carl Speaks (Donna); her grandchildren, Kirk, Phillip, Chris Vamvakides, Shanna, Justin and Sonya Speaks; and her brother Tony Sfugaris. She was also cherished by nine great- grandchildren.
