It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile R. Messier (New London, Connecticut), born in Jewett City, Connecticut, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Thivierge and Rose Thivierge (Deschamps); and her son Joseph H. Messier, Jr. (Joey). She is survived by: her husband Joseph H. Messier; her children, Paul A. Messier (Maria) of West Hartford, CT, Gail Estes (Michael) of Colorado Springs, CO, Alan Messier (Debra) of Waterford, CT and Lori Budnick of Kensington, CT; and her grandchildren, Danielle Walker, Paul F. Messier, Ryan Estes, Scott Estes, Taylor Melton, Caitlyn Budnick and Kelsey Budnick. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
