She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Minnie Cochran and Dorrance Cochran of New London; her daughters, Susan and Sharon; her stepchildren, Christopher and Karen Hansen; her grandsons, Christopher, Joseph, Charles, William, Padraic and Nikolas; and her sisters, Joyce, Gayle and Debbie. She was also cherished by her cousins, her many nieces, her nephew.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made be offered in her name to Barbara's favored organization: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
