She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence M. Saunders and Mary Falvey Saunders; her husband John; her siblings, Clifford, Joseph, Louis, Lawrence, Margaret Cotnoir of New London and Frank of Waterford; her cousin Rosemary Dowsett of New London; her daughter Kathleen (Philip) of Marblehead; her grandchildren, Brian, Sara, Julie, Jessica (John Bourous) and Caroline; her son David (Elizabeth) of Spotsylvania, VA; her grandsons, David, Jeremy and Peter; and also Jack. She was also cherished by her aunt and uncle, 2 cousins and her paternal grandparents.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St Mary's Star of the Sea, Save Ocean Beach or Smilow Cancer Center.
