She is survived by: her daughters, Gloria Diane Sessions Gray of Richmond and Dr. Barbara Sessions-Hadden (James Edward) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; her grandsons, Jesse Lee Gray and Derek Allen Gray; her siblings, Willie "Moonman" Bacote (Geraldine) and Barbara Jean Bacote of Florence; her daughters, Ellen Jacobs Gazit (Elki) of Israel, Debbie Jacobs Silver and Sally Jacobs of Connecticut; and her close friend Charles Hackman of Springfield. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Temple Church (285 Dixwell Ave, New Haven, CT 06511). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Evergreen Cemetery - New Haven (769 Ella T Grasso Blvd, New Haven, CT 06519).
