He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Poynton, Sr. and Lucy Poynton (Errichetto); his son Robert J. Poynton; and his sister Patricia Regnald. He is survived by: his children, Donald M. Poynton, Jr. (Deborah), David L. Poynton (Emily) and Audrey M. Poynton (Kenneth Schanke); his grandchildren, Sarah Poynton (Mike Yablonski), Ashleen Whitaker (Dan), Marc Poynton, Bob Poynton and Bill Poynton; and his siblings, Sharon Avitable, Kathy Remy, Robert Poynton and Michael Poynton (Susan). He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
