He is survived by: his wife Vanessa; his sons, Michael Idris Zabala Jr., Matthew Ares Zabala of Middletown, CT and Nicolas Alvarez Zabala of Simsbury; his brother Shaquille Zabala; his grandparents, Elias and Emilia Zabala; his aunt Emily Martinez (Osbaldo); his uncle Elias Zabala Jr. of New York; his siblings-in-law, Zuleyn Gonzalez of Hartford, CT and Jamie Gonzalez (Ivelisse Arcelay) of East Hartford; his brothers, DeVonte'Williams Sr., Robert Williams Sr., Rick Deschanes and Quannal Sanabria; and his extended family, Alecia Harris-Williams and David Williams Sr..
