It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard T. Rogers Sr. of Middlebury, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on May 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mae Rogers (Opalak) and Arthur Rogers; his son Richard Rogers; his siblings, Arthur Rogers and Ruth Sullivan; his siblings-in-law, David Linskey, Francis Linskey, Donald Sullivan and Anne Linskey; and his nephews, Phillip Sullivan and Barton Sullivan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Rogers; his children, Krista Hilbie (Timothy Hilbie) of Kensington, CT, Beth Friedman (Scott Friedman) of Natick, MA and Paul Rogers of Middlebury, CT.; and his grandchildren, Connor Hilbie, Reid Hilbie, Evan Hilbie, Griffin Hilbie, Grace Rogers, Ricky Rogers, Philip Friedman and Samantha Friedman.
