With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John J. Joy of Middlebury, Connecticut, born in Waterbury, Connecticut, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Joy and Katherine Joy (Powers); his wife Elizabeth Anderson; his daughter Maureen Joy; his brother Richard Joy; and his son-in-law Rick Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah (Gary Austin) of Green Bay, WI, John E. (Joanne Joy) of Waterbury and Karen Smith of Greenwood, SC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
