He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Michalski (Jeff) of Fountain Hills, AZ, Sharon Machin (Hal) of Middlebury, Christine Sakocius of Naugatuck, Elaine Sakocius of Middlebury and George Sakocius of Waterbury; his grandchildren, Jason, Todd Michalski, Joshua, Nora Machin, Amber, Katie Dickey and Heather Sakocius; and his brother Gerald Sakocius of Waterbury.
