He was predeceased by: his parents, Leighton R. Carlson and Helen Carlson (Milewski); and his sister-in-law Diane Stanford (Dale). He is survived by: his close friend Duane E. Mellor, Jr.; his brother Dennis Carlson (Pamela) of Wayne, NY; and his sisters-in-law, Susan Short (Wallace) of San Antonio and Trish Pedersen (Peter) of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
