Tyler Tegler Obituary
Tyler Tegler, 61, of Lebanon CT, died suddenly on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Windham Hospital. He was born on May 17, 1959 in Arvada, Colorado, the son of Lamoine and Lynn Tegler. He grew up in Colorado and California before moving to Connecticut, where he spent the last years of his life on a cozy homestead in Lebanon.
Tyler worked as a building superintendent before becoming an early adopter of information technology. He was an IT help desk technician for many years in the health insurance industry, and most recently worked for the state of Connecticut helping to facilitate COVID-19 vaccination efforts.
Tyler had a green thumb and enjoyed growing vegetables in his backyard garden. He was a lifelong fan of classic rock, especially Pink Floyd, computer games, especially World of Warcraft, which he enjoyed with his son Kyle. Tyler was also a fiercely proud supporter of his hometown team, the Denver Broncos, one look at his wardrobe would make this obvious.
Tyler is survived by his wife, Wilma Howe; children, Peter and Kyle; sisters, Kim, Kelly, and Michelle; his dogs Bentley and Harleigh and horses Kizzie, Mac, Steve, and Whinny. He is remembered by all for his terrific sense of humor and his deep love for his family. He will be greatly missed.
