He was predeceased by: his brother Clayton E. Lathrop. He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lathrop, Terry Halbardier, Kenneth "Kal" Lathrop and Jane Lathrop; and his grandchildren, Steven Lathrop, Jeremy Halbardier, Brittany Halbardier and Jordan Halbardier.
