He was predeceased by: his brothers, Selden Wells, Jr. and Richard Wells. He is survived by: his wife Mary King Wells; his children, Darcy Battye (John) and Rand Wells (Carleen); his grandchildren, Morgan Battye, Mason Battye and Cassandra Wells of Lebanon; his sister Virginia Gantick (Adam) of Mansfield; and his son Wells Excavating. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
