Carolyn Tanajes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Tanajes of Killingly, Connecticut, who passed away on January 15, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Piecyk and Anna Piecyk (Slowik); her husband Joseph R. Tanajes; and her siblings, Victor, Frank, Carroll, Stella and Frances.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carole Lynn Sheldon (Scott) of Mansfield and Beth Sheldon (Mark) of Eastford; her grandchildren, Mark Sheldon, Jr. (Catie) of Ashford, Lauren Sheldon (Thomas Brinsko) of Coventry and Marybeth Sheldon (David King) of Marlborough; and her great grandchild Mark Sheldon III of Ashford. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Philip Apostle Church in Warrenville, CT.
