She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Heath and Elizabeth Heath (Summers); her son Joseph Messier; and her siblings, Robert Heath, Martha Ritchie, Beverly Benoit and Dorothy Vanasse.
She is survived by: her spouse Gerard Messier, Jr.; her children, Gerard Messier, Jr. (Tammy Jean, Valerie) of Putnam, Elizabeth Messier of Putnam and Cheryl Piligian (Robert) of Putnam; her siblings, Albert Heath of Putnam and Ethel Heath of Brooklyn; her grandchildren, Catherine, Timothy, Heather, Justin, Jared, Thomas, Kimberly and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Xavier, Zachary, Amy, Matthew, Skyler, Kadyn, Lexi, Anthony, Cameron, Trevor and Ely. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, as well as the frequent visits to see her husband.
