She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Kiefer and Melville Kiefer; and her siblings, Nancy, Melinda and John.

She is survived by: her husband Kevin Heaton; her children, Vanessa, Adam, Bridget and Sean; and her granddaughter Lana.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude Children's or Shriners Children's hospitals in her name.
