He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Cox and Delmer Cox; and his brothers, Dick, Dana, Raymond and Phil.
He is survived by: his son Ronald L. Cox, Jr. of Wallingford; his daughter-in-law Marsha Hillman of Wallingford; and his grandchildren, Katie, Charlotte and Adam Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
