He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Milton Day Sr. and Dorothy Day (Bridgham); his wife Ruth Day (Nyberg); his daughters, Lisa Day of Southington, CT, Sally Mahoney (Paul) of New Hartford, CT and Brenda Day (Audrey Suseno) of Farmington, CT; his grandchildren, Elsa Mahoney, Erin Mahoney and Shane Hurley; and his son Peter Day.
