She was predeceased by: her parents, James Speirs and Margaret Speirs (Glasgow) of Anniesland; and her siblings, James, Margaret and Marie.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh McCaig; her daughters, Christine Sawyer (James Sawyer) of Newington and Catherine Murphy (Don Murphy) of Berlin; her grandchildren, Landon, Holden, Camden Murphy, Tina and Eric Sawyer; and also Hugh (Shug). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
