He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Nesta and Gaetana Nesta (Gervasio); his daughter AnnMarie Davis; his granddaughter Amy Ziegler; his son-in-law Orlando Davis; his brother Anthony Nesta; his sister-in-law Margaret Nesta; his sister Grace Niedermayer; and his brother-in-law Frank Niedermayer.

He is survived by: his son John Nesta; his daughter-in-law Patricia Nesta of Manchester; his daughters, Linda (Timothy Hungerford) and Catherine (Rodney Beloit); his grandchildren, Shannon Nesta and Raymond Ziegler III; and his great grandchild Taylor Marie Ziegler. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
