He was predeceased by: his parents, John Tarka and Sophie Tarka (Lupa); his spouse Eleana M. Tarka (Tramontozzi); his sisters, Julia, Helen and Angelina; and his nephew Edward Tarka.
He is survived by: his son John Tarka; his daughter-in-law Hillary Tarka; his grandson Harrison; and his brother Thaddeus "Ted" Tarka.
