He was predeceased by: his stepsons, Troy Billings Sr and Kurt Billings. He is survived by: his wife Pauline Dupont (Bedard); his sons, David Dupont, Richard Dupont of Jewett City, Jeffrey Dupont (Jessie) and John Roode III (Lori) of Griswold; and his siblings, Alfred Dupont of Norwich and Barbara Cammarato. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
