She was predeceased by: her sisters, Melanie Saunders and Janice McDowell. She is survived by: her daughter Dr. Shannon R. Holder of Hartford; her niece Allegra Santana (George); her brother-in-law Max Sawicky (Michelle); her goddaughter Kristen McDowell; her cousins, Cameron Royal, Grant Blount, Jonathan Blount, Valerie Williams, Jean Williams and Daena Carter; her siblings-in-law, Cleophas, Joy Holder, Charles Sr. and Hazel Holder; her nieces and nephews, Saleena, Tiana, Jerry, Jovid, Clive and Charles, Jr.; her close friend Dr. Deborah Simmons; her godson Jhaiqwan Wallace; and also, Kim Holder, Ashlee Williams, Cheryl and Ross Williams. She is also survived by sisters, and dear friends.
