It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lanard A. Krause (Hartford, Connecticut), who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Swedish and German; and his son David Schullinger-Krause. He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Oppelt) of West Hartford, CT; his daughter Laurie Krause; his son-in-law Richard Mercer of Simsbury, CT; his son Jeffrey Krause; his daughters-in-law, Robin Krause of Rockville, MD and Sallie Schullinger-Krause of Woodstock, VT; his grandchildren, Min Fons of Franklin, ME, Zachary Fons of Simsbury, CT and Blake Mercer of Philadelphia, PA.; his sister Lorraine McCann of West Hartford, CT; his siblings-in-law, Carole and Gary Hughes of Wethersfield, CT; and his pet Oskar. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, his dear friend.
