John A. Zagaja Jr. Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John A. Zagaja Jr. of Hartford, Connecticut, born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Joseph Zagaja, Leonard Zagaja, Dorothy Novak, Helen Karp, Lillian Provost, Claire Dumeer and Irene Kryzak; and his parents, John A. Zagaja, and Julia Zagaja, Sr. (Wegrzyn).
He is survived by: his wife Rosalind Zagaja (Zazzaro); his children, John A. Zagaja, III (Kathryn) of East Granby, Robert S. Zagaja (Veronica) of South Windsor, Joan Z. D'Auria (Gregory) of Amston and Jill Z. Gill (Patrick) of East Granby; his grandchildren, Daniel Zagaja (Kellyn Patros), Cameron D'Auria, Julia DeGray (Jonathan), Nina Zagaja, David D'Auria, Cara Zagaja (Connor Reardon), Thomas D'Auria, Ryan Gill (Kialeigh), Jameson Gill and Brady Gill; his great grandchild Walter Ryan Gill; and his brother-in-law Raymond Kryzak. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
