With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gonçalo J. De Sousa of Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Eduardo, Rosa, Silvério, Antonio and Manuel; and his mother Olinda De Jesus.
He is survived by: his spouse Suzana De Sousa (De Castro); his daughters, Marcia Carpenter (Paul Carpenter, III) of Glastonbury and Olinda De Sousa (Carlos Rodriguez) of West Hartford; his grandchildren, Sabrina Carpenter, Paul Carpenter, IV, Monica Bonilla, Franklyn Bonilla, Jr., Adrian Rodriguez and Jaziel Rodriguez; and his great grandchild Ava Bonilla. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
