He was predeceased by: his wife Paula D'Aniello Lupi; his parents, Peter Lupi and Louise Gaetano Lupi; his former wife Shirley Papero Lupi; his daughter Ellen Marie Lupi; and his siblings, Peter, Rudy, John Lupi and Conni Capasso.
He is survived by: his children, William A. Lupi of Hamden and Sue Lupi of Mass; his sister Teresa Lupi of Hamden; and his grandson Roland Lupi.
