She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Addison and Margaret Addison (Deveney); her brothers, Norman (Virginia), Donald (Anne), William (Noreen), Frank (Viola) and James (Sandra); her son Paul Francis; her husband Paul Vincent McCarthy; and her brothers, John (Gloria) and Edward (Ruth).
She is survived by: her children, Sheila McCarthy Quarz (Robert Quarz) of Cheshire, Marianne McCarthy of North Haven and Brian McCarthy of Hamden; and her grandchildren, Paul Wilson-McCarthy, Martha Wilson-McCarthy, Erica Quarz Bell (Paul Bell) and Morgan Quarz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
