She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer Smith (Glenn) of Charlotte, NC and Laurie Booker of Baltimore, MD; her grandchildren, George J. Long of New Haven, CT, Marquis L. Long of Charlotte, NC, Ashley S. Long of New Haven, CT and LaJamia Banks; her great grandchildren, Tanaiza Glass, Matthew Sorrells, Zaina Sorrells, Jaden Dozier, Travis Scott, Jr., Jordynn Long, Brooklyn Scott, Chandler R. McKay, Mackenzie Long, Autumn and Giana Lafayette-Long; her siblings, Mary Heyward, Telia Heyward of New Haven, CT and Alfred Heyward of Ridgeland, SC; her aunts, Ruby of Florence, S. C. and Alberta Simmons of New Haven, CT; and her godchildren, Melba Heyward of New Haven, CT and Andrew Proctor of Ridgeland, SC. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
