Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Bertha Lee Watts of Hamden, Connecticut, born in Bethel, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 81, on July 5, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rasper Pugh, Sr. and Lossie Bell Pugh; her son Eric Watts; her siblings, Louis Ray Pugh, Rasper Pugh, Jr. and Dorothy Bryant; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Pugh, Fairy Mae Pugh, Ingrid Pugh, Billy Leggette and Jimmy Bryant.

She is survived by: her sons, Easper Watts, Sr. (Shaina) and Erskin Watts, Jr. (Rosemary); and her siblings, Alonzo Pugh, Floyd Pugh (Rosa), Thomas Pugh (Eva), William Pugh (Rosemary) and Edna Leggette. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six adopted grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
