He was predeceased by: his parents, Delores Groomes and Luthell B. Groomes; and his brother Luther Groomes. He is survived by: his siblings, Willie Groomes, Bobby Groomes, Jamal Groomes (Dawn), Vendetta Groomes, Dolores Groomes (Alex) and Natacha Groomes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
