He was predeceased by: his parents, Liberto DeMatteis and Adeline Santillo DeMatteis. He is survived by: his wife Ann DeLeonardo DeMatteis; his children, Susan Ziaks (Robert) of North Haven and Michael A. DeMatteis of Hamden; his brother Frank DeMatteis (Cheryl) of Hamden; and his grandchildren, Brendan and Ryan Ziaks. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
