He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecilio Miranda and Mercedes Martínez; his children, Miriam Miranda and José L. Miranda; and his siblings, Rosa Miranda Wagner, Carmen Miranda Williams, Josefina "Chefa" Rivera and Miguel Miranda.
He is survived by: his children, Ely Rose Miranda (Isoel Arzola) of Orlando, FL, Noemi Miranda Foreman (Mark A. Foreman, Sr.) of Hamden and Angel C. Miranda, Jr. (Jennifer) of Orlando; and his grandson Mark Anthony Foreman, II. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
