He was predeceased by: his parents, Catharina Sunone and Genaro Sapia; and his siblings, Samuel Sapia, Joseph Sapia, David Sapia, Jonathan Sapia, Ann Sapia Bonina and Gertrude Sapia Vinci.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Sapia; his children, Suzanne Sapia-Sabo (Robert), Donna Sapia-Petronelli (Daniel) and Laurie Sapia-Howard (Paul); his sister-in-law Gloria Sciaretta; and his grandchildren, Jessica Petronelli, Stephanie Sanborn, Harry Sabo, Tucker, Logan and Peyton Howard.
