He is survived by: his children, Victoria Brooks Adams Melly (Tom), Wendy Adams Montgomery and Banks Tolson Adams, III (Deleata); his grandchildren, Tommy Melly, Caroline Melly, Madeline Melly, Stone Montgomery, Macrae Montgomery and Courtney Montgomery; and his great grandchild John Banks Melly.
