He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Goldberg and Marie Goldberg (Cote). He is survived by: his children, Marcie Betterton of Kearns, UT, Mark Ascher of Tucson, AZ and Michele Fredsall (David) of Wolcott, CT; his grandchildren, Stephen Fredsall, Aislyn Fredsall, Jessica Nelson, Nicole Nelson, Sabrina Nelson, Kylie Hennessey and Lian Ascher; his sister Carolyn Castro (Luis) of Windsor, CT; and his close friend Thomas Damiano. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
