She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas J. Heffernan and Emily Gibney Heffernan; her husband Robert D. Leonard; her son John T. Leonard; her sisters, Kay Towers, Sherry Gaull and Shelagh O'Neill; and her nephews, Frederic Towers and Gunnar O'Neill. She is also survived by her sisters' children and grandchildren.
