She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Louis Apter and Alice Apter (Lifshitz); her husband Abraham Schachter; her sister Colonel Ethel Apter; her children, Alice Beck (Lawrence), Scott Schachter and Lora Reisfeld (David); her grandchildren, Sara Beck Steinberger (Jonathan), Andrew Beck (Kate), Jason Reisfeld (Allyson), Michael Reisfeld (Amanda) and Jake Schachter; and her great grandchildren, Spencer, Benjamin Steinberger, Oliver, Hannah Beck and Theodore Reisfeld.
