She was predeceased by: her husband Robert C. Powers; her parents, Frank Casey and Genevieve Horvath Casey; and her siblings, Kathleen Grant and Charles Casey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kirsten Powers Boroskey (William) of Sandy Hook and Lauren Ellard (Peter) of New Milford; her grandchildren, Madison, William Boroskey, Peter, Edward, Harper and Genevieve Ellard; and her nephew Steven Farkas of Southbury. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
