He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thomson and Edith Thomson (Vaughan); and his brother George. He is survived by: his son William V. Thomson Jr. (Kathleen) of Enfield; his granddaughter Megan Dean (Cameron Dean); his great grandchild Morwenna Dean of Anchorage; his grandsons, Patrick Thomson of Enfield and John A. Thomson (Susan) of Windsor; his great grandchildren, Rebecca Thomson of Hartford, Jessica Thomson of Middletown and Kelly Thomson of Vernon; and his sister-in-law Betty Thomson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
