It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Skizewski of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on January 25, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Skizewski and Olga Skizewski (Kunashka); his wife Rita Skizewski; his son Richard Skizewski, Jr.; and his brothers-in-law, Fedeli Carrieri and Robert Rookey.
He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Moores of Suffield, Traci Potter (Chris) of Suffield and Jayne Skizewski (Sheiia) of Enfield; his grandchildren, Emily, Riley, Connor, Sam, Jakob, Ben, Isabel, Jenny, James (Chyloe) and Jessie; his great grandchild Pierce; his sister Phyllis Horner of Ohio; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Rookey, Betty Carrieri and Nick Carrieri (Deb). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
