Albert of Enfield, Connecticut, born in Fort Kent, Maine, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fernand J. Albert; her parents, Leon Plourde and Leona Plourde (Charette); her brothers, Leon Plourde, Jr. and Joseph D. Plourde, Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Maurice St. Laurent and Roland Albert; her son-in-law William DeFord; and her niece Anne Marie Plourde Kardys.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Michael Albert (Jane) of Bradford, ME, Carol Sargent (Mark) of Enfield, James Albert (Laura) of Suffield, Kenneth Albert (Lisa) of Somers and Lisa DeFord of Woodbury; her grandchildren, Christopher Albert, Matthew Albert, Kirstie Phillips (Justin), Joshua Albert, Noelle Albert, Gabrielle Catalano (Nick), Johnathan Albert (Jamie), Shawn DeFord (Jessica) and Emily DeFord; her great grandchildren, Charlotte DeFord and Levi Phillips; her sisters, Marilyn Chasse (Jean Paul) of Plantsville and Carol Plourde; and her friends, Nellie Pawlak and Aurora Foxx. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1999, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101.
