He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Kumitis and Celia Kumitis; and his siblings, Lawrence Kumitis, John McGroarty and Alice McGroarty.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Bowman of Silverhill, AL, Paul Kogut (Andrea) of Manchester, CT and Amy Geiger (Chris) of Elberta, AL; his grandchildren, Tyler Bowman, Aalyia, Faith Kogut, Bella and Gabriel Geiger; and his sisters, Karen Kumitis of Edwardsville, PA and Irene Kumitis of Alexandria, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
