He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Pehl and Rosemary Tuorcott Pehl Lamott; his wife Irene Pehl (Deford); his son Bernie Pehl; his grandson Gary Sokoloski; and his sister Nancy Caouette (Moe).
He is survived by: his children, Richard Pehl (Joy) of Enfield and Germaine Pehl-Reigal (Peter) of Hartford; his grandchildren, Marissa Pehl (Paul Charter) of Ellington, Katherine Fairchild of Manchester, Melissa Sokoloski of Simsbury and Lynn Reigal-Collazo of Hartford; his great grandchildren, Alyxandra Fairchild and Robert Miller Jr.; and his sister Sally Galano. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
